Wine Label Design – From Russia With Love

It appears that wine label designs today are going for the more is more approach. Quirky illustrations and names, neon colours and foiling abound, all trying to entice the consumer to pick their Sav Blanc over another. So when we came across this simply beautiful wine label by Unicorn Studio for award-winning Russian winery Vedernikov we thought it was worth sharing.

The less is more approach has produced a design that oozes refinement and positions this wine as something special. The blind embossed design is based on the traditional Russia wood painting style, khokhloma, known for its vivid flower patterns. It adds a tactile quality to this clean white label.

We’re sure that it will be the wine of choice for those with impeccable taste in wine and design.
