Celebrity Chef Endorsement on Packaging Design
It’s an oldie but a goodie – a celebrity endorsement helping to promote and sell a smorgasbord of products from food and drinks, to perfume and jewellery. A famous face promoting a product elevates it in the consumer’s mind and creates a certain amount of trust in that product – ‘if it’s good enough for them, it’s good enough for me’.
When it comes to promoting food what better endorsement can you get than one from a celebrity chef? The likes of Jamie Oliver, Heston Blumenthal and Ainslee Harriott or our very own Simon Gault have all become households names after fronting cooking related shows. Their individual personality and style of cooking has helped create their own brand which can be leveraged by the food product they are endorsing.
Next time you’re at a supermarket look out for some of these famous chef names or faces looking back at you from the shelves.
